To make it better in life, you need to read this.
Sometimes, you don’t need an elaborate plan to pursue your goals. When you have an idea, just start, even if you’re unsure about what you’re doing or whether it’s the right path. The key is persistence; we often find our way through the journey itself.
Take my experience, for example. When I began the process of moving to France, I had no idea what I was doing. I wasn't sure if I’d actually go, but I kept pushing forward, and eventually, I got my visa. Financial struggles added to the challenge. The grandes écoles seemed like a distant dream due to their high requirements and costs. Additionally, I faced issues with la CAF not reimbursing two months of my rent. I persevered, asserted my rights, and eventually got my money back. With that refund, I paid the fees for the concours, despite my tight budget.
Balancing babysitting, which barely covered my rent, and studying was tough. I didn’t have enough time to prepare for the concours, especially the TAGE MAGE, yet I took the risk. I succeeded in getting accepted into four out of five schools. Overwhelmed with joy, I realized my persistence had paid off. Now, I’m waiting for the results of my oral exams, hoping to continue my studies at a business school in Marseille or Bordeaux.
My aspirations don’t stop there. I plan to do an apprenticeship with a major company like L’Oreal or Microsoft. Although this seems like a distant dream, I believe that with determination, I can make it happen. I also dream of living in Germany or the USA and launching my startup. Despite the challenges, I know that if we can dream it, we can achieve it. So, the best approach is to stop overthinking and start taking action.
Furthermore, don’t settle for mediocrity. I refuse to be just an average person. I don't want to be just a pretty face with academic achievements. Embrace discomfort and step out of your comfort zone. I strive to improve myself daily, working on my blog, enhancing my programming skills, and progressing in my research project. I aim to boost my statistical knowledge, read extensively, earn certificates, complete internships, and work simultaneously.
Additionally, I’m focusing on improving my communication and social skills while staying motivated. I make time for running and sports to ensure my well-being. Amidst all this, I remember to have fun. The journey of self-improvement is continuous, and embracing it with passion and determination makes all the difference.
As a mathematics student, I embrace my introverted nature, preferring deep thought over social interactions. My creativity thrives as I constantly seek solutions beyond conventional boundaries, often venturing out of my comfort zone. In my undergraduate years, I pioneered Algeria's first cryptography club, reflecting my innovative spirit. With a keen eye for startup ideas and a dedication to continuous learning, I am fueled by curiosity and a desire to make a difference. Despite not always achieving top grades, my ability to quickly grasp new concepts and my unwavering determination ensure success in all endeavors. Compassionate and empathetic, I am driven by a vision to support my family, uplift the underprivileged, and advocate for women's and children's rights.
